Me no likey at all! There is a reason I live down here and the cold aint it!

So I decided to get back into the swing of sewing by making shirts. Why I don’t know since I hate making them. I’m trying to figure out what would be fastest for me since I have so many kids to make for. And you know I can’t just do one and not make the others one. The world doesn’t work that way.

I did better with the thicker knit than the stretchy jersey. That stuff hates me. Good practise for the coverhem though. I kinda like that part, if I could sew straight lol

I thought about making a gift for a friend who’s down from Canada but I can’t think of what to make her. Total blank. I don’t know her well so maybe a purse? I have some lovely fabric I just got from a Chinese ebayer. She seems earthy so maybe browns? Heck I don’t know. Do most folks even make gifts for people they dont know?

Anyways, I need to go turn off the machines and move my tiny heater. The floor tiles in the sewing room were like ice blocks, even through my fuzzy socks.

Montessori By Hand posted on a sewing group I belong to and I drooled over the thought that she was selling this pattern.

I think I have to go buy this now.

I’ve been fighting the urge since I saw it. I don’t really *need* another apron to add to the 50 or so I already have. But I adore the top part and who can resist a bow? I mean really….it’s a BOW!

I wonder if I applying the “one for me, one for someone else” rule would justify the cost? I have the perfect fabric for it. I could also start on my Christmas sewing for next year right?

Sigh…someone save me from myself before my wallet flies open!

I give up on trying to get all my old posts on here. I’ll add what I have and go from there. Whew! I feel better just having decided that!
